Rev. Charmaine Kofler
Pastor Charmaine was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and immigrated to Canada with her husband and two children in 1998. Charmaine started her career in banking, but after more than 20 years of working in the industry, she followed the Lord`s call into Pastoral Ministry. Charmaine served in the Quinte West Church of the Nazarene since September 2000. In 2006, she began serving as their District Licensed Pastor.
As a bi-vocational pastor, Charmaine also worked for New Life Girls Home, helping to mentor and care for young women struggling with life-controlling problems. Charmaine retired from New Life in April to accept this position as Head Pastor at the Bridlewood Community Church of the Nazarene.
Pastor Charmaine is committed to fulfilling her call into ministry and has adopted the following philosophy for her ministry;
John 21:15-17 "Feed my lambs...Take care of my sheep...Feed my sheep..."
Being called of God into ministry I recognize that I am first a servant of the Lord and to that end, I am the shepherd who takes care of her sheep. People who need help I will help, people who are lost I will lead, people who hunger for truth I will feed, people who are hurt I will care for, and those who need God I will show them, Jesus.
