Watoto African Children's Choir!

We are so excited to once again host the Watoto African Children's Choir from Uganda!
Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled internationally since 1994 as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease.
Accompanied by a team of adults, the choir presents Watoto’s vision and mission through their stories, music and dance. Watoto choirs act as ambassadors to raise awareness about the plight of the orphaned and vulnerable children of Africa.
You won't want to miss this powerful and inspirational musical presentation on June 23rd at 10:30am, so come share in the incredible blessing of these beautiful children, and be sure to invite friends and family.

Collecting School Supplies for Kanata Food Cupboard

Another wonderful initiative from your church leadership team has to do with an all church 'Love Kanata' event which involves each of us as we are able to bless the Kanata Food Cupboard , and especially our local Kanata kids.
We will be collecting the following items throughout the summer and a collection box will be in the lobby of the church:
NO BINDERS
pencils
erasers
lined and graph paper
rulers
pens
calculators
sharpeners
dividers
duo tangs
highlighters
pencil cases
markers
coloured pencils
Thank you for your local mission work to our community as we show them how we "Love Kanata".
